Management 3.0 with Jurgen Appelo

I just have been in a course with Jurgen Appelo, the author of the best seller Management 3.0 and I can tell that this has really been a refreshing experience. Jurgen is definitely a great trainer that has the ability to keep the class focused and at the same time having a good time. Thanks to Jurgen I now can say that I understand Dutch humor.

Jurgen approach to management, Agile management would be best to say, is definitely what we need in modern (or want-to-be-modern) organizations. His experiences are something that can, and perhaps should, be applied to other organizations that are still struggling with Agile.

  3. I would say that a PMP is highly respected within both IT & non-IT communities where strong project management skills are required. If you plan on a long term career as a project manager, then yes, even with your level of experience, I would suggest getting your PMP. You can prepare yourself for the exam in one of the leading training providers like http://www.pmstudy.com . You can do minimal prep-work to get 40 PMI® Contact Hours and apply to PMI for PMP Exam before the class begins.
